HILLARY IMPLODES: Here is What She Said About Trump’s Greenville Rally

Hillary Clinton slammed President Trump after he struck out at four progressive congresswomen of color during a rally Wednesday night.

“Democracy may be our birthright as Americans, but it’s not something we can ever take for granted. Every generation has to fight for it,” the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee tweeted. “After last night’s Trump rally, it’s clearer than ever that the time has come again.”

Trump at the rally in North Carolina hammered Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.).

“They never have anything good to say. That’s why I say, ‘hey if they don’t like it, let them leave. Let them leave,’” Trump said. “They’re always telling us how to run it, how to do this — you know what, if they don’t love it, tell them to leave it.”

Several members of the crowd chanted “send her back” during the middle of a diatribe against Omar, who came to the country as a refugee from Somalia.

Several Democrats running to challenge Trump in 2020 also slammed the president over the chants, with many suggesting he was exploiting racial divisions to propel his reelection effort.

The remarks were the latest development in a feud that began Sunday when Trump suggested that the four congresswomen, known as “the squad,” should go back to the “crime infested places from which they came.” Three of the four congresswomen were born in the U.S. and all four are citizens.

Clinton and Trump fought a bitter campaign in 2016 that was characterized by personal broadsides and chants of “lock her up” from Trump voters, referring to Clinton’s use of a private email server while serving as secretary of State.
